VENUE TIMING: 8 HOURS

Total rental booking is for 8 hours, which includes;

  • 2 hours for setup

  • 5 hours for the event

  • 1 hour for cleanup

One additional hour can be added for $500.

We are subject to an Anne Arundel County noise ordinance, and music must be off by 10 pm. This means the latest your event can run is until 10 pm, leaving 10 pm - 11 pm as your hour for clean up.

WEDDING SUITE

The wedding suite will be available for your use two hours prior to your ceremony, aligning with the start of your venue booking. This space is designed for changing attire, serving as a staging area before the ceremony, and providing a secure location to store your personal belongings during the event.

This spacious room offers the best views of the bay and our natural grounds. The wedding suite can fit up to 20 guests with connected balcony to further enjoy what the bay has to offer.

PARKING:

We have a total of 125 parking spaces available. Cars can be left overnight but must be picked up the next morning in consideration for the next event.

PET POLICY:

We adore your furry friends—bring them along for the ceremony and cocktail hour on the lawn! Please note that animals are allowed on the beach and grounds only.

BOAT/DOCK POLICY:

Couples or guests may arrive or depart by boat. We have 125’ dock, and the boat utilized must have no more than a 2’ draw. Please also consider low tide and how it coincides with your event timing.

REHEARSAL

A one-hour Rehearsal on the beach is included in your venue rental.

The rehearsal will be scheduled at the final walkthrough meeting 30 days before your event, when our event calendar is finalized. If there is an event booked the day before your event, we will offer you alternative times.

You may choose to rehearse after our operating business hours, but keep in mind you will not have any access inside the building after hours. CBF staff do not assist with rehearsals.

TENT / INCLEMENT WEATHER:

Our tented deck has side panels that can be closed for inclement weather, including rain, wind, or cold temperatures. A decision on whether our tent sides should remain closed or open during your event needs to be communicated to the Wedding Manager by 9 am on Friday for a weekend wedding, or 9 am the day of your weekday event.

Tent sides will not be closed or opened when it is actively raining, lightning or during high winds. Decisions on the tent sides should be made proactively, not reactively! The tent sides cannot be closed or opened once the event begins. It requires a ladder and adequate room along the perimeter of the deck, and can take up to two hours to close/open all sides. Preset furniture and guests will hinder this process. An inclement weather plan with be discussed during your final walkthrough.
